We as Musicians need to tackle the "Audience Retention" issue with a goal in mind. Yes, "Getting them to Stay" is the ultimate goal, or even better is to turn off the TV and come out to see us perform. We need to concur what will bring them out again first, then we can address the promotional issue of what venues want next. We as performers need to create a BUZZ first, then keeping others happy. Just like creating a "Music Business Plan" what comes first, then what's next after that, this is what successful musicians do (Plan, Plan, Plan).

Yes, some musicians don't understand "MBP" & some don't get why, but we are working against a system that is broken and needs to be fixed ASAP. We have to change with the times and start running our Music Career as a business, get back to basics, and re-invent the next musical wave. JM
