THIS is what photography is about for us. ❤️
It’s not just about setting up a session, clicking the shutter, importing, culling, editing, and uploading a gallery… then sending our clients on their way with a folder full of digital images.
Those things are all part of the job — but they’re not why we do what we do.
For us, photography is about capturing a family’s journey.
It’s about being invited back, again and again, to document the moments that make up a life.
Sierra and her family are such a beautiful example of exactly why we love this so much. ❤️
We’ve had the incredible honor of capturing their engagement, maternity session, their firstborn’s first birthday BBQ rib smash, and then their newest addition — an absolute DOLL! 🥹💕
We captured their newborn/family lifestyle session, and celebrated that sweet little one’s first birthday with a smash cake session, too!
And honestly… being trusted to photograph these milestones means more to us than we can put into words.
We get to watch families grow.
We get to see little babies become big kids.
We get to capture the love, the laughter, the chaos, the quiet moments, and all the little details in between.
And then, years later, we get to see those photographs displayed throughout their homes — images that aren’t just pretty pictures, but reminders of the people they love and the seasons of life they never want to forget.
That is the part that gets us. ❤️
It’s the relationship.
It’s the trust.
It’s the memories.
It’s being invited into the most intimate and meaningful chapters of someone’s life.
That’s what photography is about to us.
