Dilco Industries is looking for a full-time manual machinist to join our team in Salem, OH.
We are looking for qualified individuals who can perform the following tasks:
• Machine parts using manual machining equipment including horizontal and vertical milling machines, boring mills, drill press, saws, lathes and grinding equipment.
• Use precision measuring tools (i.e.: calipers, micrometers) to set up and adjust work and confirm conformance of work to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to accurately produce work to specification.
• Set up and perform routine maintenance on machines and tooling.
• Work within and hold tolerances up to +/-.001
• Exhibit knowledge of materials and adjust equipment to produce work that meets specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with safety and housekeeping standards
Other qualifications:
• Minimum high school education or GED
• 3-5 years machining trade experience preferred
• Mathematic/mechanical aptitude
• Driver’s license preferred
