I have an education from both the Art Institute of Portland and the Visual Communications Program at Chemeketa Community College. For the past six years I have worked both as a corporate and freelance graphic designer. In addition, I have worked with many different industries from auto auctions to dance studios to investment banks. Working on my own challenged my creativity and gave me the confide
nce to create quickly. In my corporate experience, I was the only designer in the Northwest location with Manheim Auctions. This was a fast-paced environment with several daily deadlines. I was responsible for all in-house advertising, newsletters, web graphics and branding of our promotional events. I worked individually with every department to promote their events and to increase their overall sales by creating cohesive brands and taglines. Freelancing gave me the opportunity to work directly with clients to build strong branding and web solutions that set them apart from their competitors. I have an intuitive sense of a client's vision to create design that is not only functional but logical. I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dreamweaver.
