At 6:04pm, Engine 511, Tanker 512, Rescue 510 and five of our Volunteers were dispatched in Mutual Aid for Smiths Station Fire Department, on a report of a Structure Fire in the 10000 Block of Lee Road 240.

At arrival, SSFD already had the fire under control and we assisted with manpower and overhaul.

At 8:32 pm, Engine 511, Tanker 512, Rescue 510 and 4 volunteers were dispatched to Hwy 280 and Lee Road 184 on a report of a traffic collision. At arrival, our Volunteers discovered the crash involved a single vehicle and a Wild Boar, which ran in front of the vehicle.

The #2 traffic lane (Slow Lane) was obstructed and our Volunteers established a traffic control zone. The vehicle had moderate front end damage and airbag deployment. The driver was treated on the scene, but declined medical transport.

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency handled the crash report.

AT 9:30 pm, CP Wrecker Service towed the vehicle and the traffic lanes were reopened.

At 3:12 pm, Tanker 512, Rescue 510 responded to an automatic Mutual Aid call for a structure fire on Lee Road 213. First Due units reported flames coming from the carport attic. Our Volunteers assisted with overhaul and cleanup.

A 8:24am, Engine 511 and two Volunteers were dispatched to the intersection of Lee Road 158 and Lee Road 183 on a report of an accident without injures with a fuel spill.

At arrival, we found a Tractor Trailer and a Pick Up truck had collided and were both leaking Fuel and Oils. Lee County, Alabama Emergency Management Agency responded and assisted with HazMat spill. There were no reported injuries.

Our Volunteers provided Traffic Control along with Lee County Sheriff's Office. Alabama Law Enforcement Agency took the crash report.

At 6:07 pm, Engine 511, Rescue 510 and four Volunteers responded to US Hwy 280 and Lee Road 391 on a report of a crash with injuries. At arrival, two people reported injuries and were initially treated by our Volunteers. East Alabama EMS arrived and subsequently transported the injured to local hospitals. Our Volunteers managed traffic until the vehicles were towed.
