On June 24 at 7:00 p.m., Jeff Tranel and Annie Overlin, with support from Travis Taylor, will be presenting a one-hour webinar titled “Drought Decisions.”

This program is designed to help producers make informed decisions about managing and potentially selling cattle during ongoing drought conditions. The session will be concise, practical, and will include time for participant questions.

Webinar Topics Include:
Current range and hay conditions and how they may change with or without precipitation
Annual cow costs and financial considerations
Use of ABM decision tools
Tax considerations related to the sale of calves and breeding livestock
Open Q&A with presenters

Join our Master Gardener volunteers in the Chaffee County Fairgrounds Demonstration Garden tomorrow, as we continue to upgrade the demonstration garden to feature the many amazing plants that thrive in our high elevation climate! 9-11am tomorrow, no need to RSVP, please wear closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle and your favorite gardening gloves.
