Science at work this morning! 🧪🐜
​I spent the early hours collecting specimens from a termite swarm discovered at a local school building. While swarms are a common sight this time of year in Kansas, every case offers a chance to learn something new.

​I’ve just dropped these specimens off at the K-State Department of Entomology for further examination. It’s always great to collaborate with the experts at K-State to see what specific insights we can gather from these samples.
