Don’t spend a lifetime trying to build success overnight.

A good foundation for anything takes time to build. Whether you building a friendship, marriage, or business it all requires laying each piece of the brick down and focusing on the process and next step.

We sometimes are very quick to run to the finish line and keep our eye on the end goal but that may be a quick race that fades just as fast as you build it.

If you truly take the time each day to go through the process and lay the bricks daily you’re building a business based on purpose and steps and that will hold up against the test of time.

I say all that to say, give yourself four years once you have the four-year mindset you’ll notice things grow faster.

Are you thinking of a million things you’d like to “Have”? If so, the question is...

Are you the type of person who’s willing to “Become” to get them?

Think about it...

Are you building up your personal growth and working daily to achieve your wants?

If your answer is no... You can't "Expect” to just have the things you want…

If your answer is yes…

Now stop to think, Am I putting in the kind of work it takes to get the right results?

If you're not willing to do what it takes then before you know it. Days turn into Weeks, Months, and Years and you’ll still wont have all your want’s.

Don’t end up never getting what you want out of life. Each day you have to show up with the same amount of intensity and put In the work it takes.

Having what you want is all predicated on what you're willing to become to achieve the life you’re dreaming of.

Mother

Do you know what mother means?

I can honestly say that before this year I didn’t

Sure the term mother was always special to me.. it always meant the woman that gave me life and it always meant someone that I’d love and cherish forever

But this year mother, as important as the term has always been to me, became even greater

As I watched my wife carry our child for 9 months, her body working overtime to grow and sustain another life

As I listened to her stomach and heard our babies heart beat, realizing, wow there’s another human inside of you”

As I watched her labor for all 17 hours with everything that she had to make sure our baby arrived on this earth successfully

And as I now watch her nurture and care for our baby like only a mother can..

Mother used to mean nurturer and caretaker

But this year I watched mother also mean warrior, miracle worker, and so much more

The term mother will never be the same to me ever again. I love all of the mothers in my life including the ones that made sure I arrived here safely and grew to be the man I am today; my mom and my grandmother.

But This year I want to give a special shout-out to my wife. I already loved you so much. But watching you this year give birth to our child has given me a whole nother level of love, respect, and appreciation for you. Me and Gracelyn wouldn’t be able to do this thing without you! We both love you so much!
