Mark your calendars! Join us for our 2nd Annual World Migratory Bird Day Celebration at Upjohn Park in partnership with Kzoo Parks and The City of Kalamazoo, Michigan

This year’s event is featuring:

• 20+ local organizations offering activities and sharing how their work relates to birds
• An Art Mart with 10 local artists selling their work
• A live raptor presentation with four birds of prey
• A guided bird walk through the park
• A prize drawing just for attending
• A scavenger hunt with a prize for completing
• Hands-on crafts like building your own bird feeder

We’re excited to partner with the City of Kalamazoo to kick off Buzz in the Zoo at this event! Be sure to stop by their table to learn more and pick up your yard sign.

Forgot to post last month but I Ended the 2025 season last year with Art Hop’s 2025’s Dec Show!! Very surprised how many people came out for Art, food and warm drinks!

Honoring the beauty of handmade art is the focus of this month's Art Hop in downtown Kalamazoo.
This free event, organized by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, runs from 5–8 p.m. and features a variety of artists’ works as well as live music and the chance to visit downtown businesses.

ART HOP IS TOMORROW!

Explore the fusion of learning and creativity at the November Art Hop on Friday, November 7th. Discover how art can teach and transform through mentorship, collaboration, and dynamic self-expression.

And don't forget, this month we are partnering with Ministry with Community to support individuals and families in need. As you explore all the inspiring stops, consider bringing new underwear, socks, or gently used warm outerwear to donate. Together we can make a difference while celebrating art.
