Given his age at the time, it became a popular novelty to have him "help out" with bid calling at many of the auctions his parents would attend. Over the years, Charles has assisted and worked with many of the area's leading auctioneers, learning a variety of styles and practice

2023 marks the 35th time I've walked into the County Clerk's office in Keytesville and applied to my Auctioneer's License. In fact, I've been a licensed auctioneer longer than I've been a licensed driver.

I've covered a lot of ground and have sold everything from boxes of garage sale leftovers to the windows out of a Catholic church. I've worked in several states and nearly every corner of Missouri. I've worked with some of the best and a few of the rest and more than once drafted into service with auctioneers I had never met before being put to work.

The one common factor is that I believe in helping those that NEED an auctioneer, not just those that offer a big commission check. Every seller is important and each deserves the best service possible on a given day.

That means I may not be driving a new truck or have the fanciest equipment, but what I have in unique and functional AND it's paid for so I don't have to charge extra to cover unnecessary expenses.

All I ask is a chance to talk to you about your upcoming auction. I think you'll be surprised at the level of service we provide without taking the lion's share of the proceeds. Our aim is not to be the cheapest alternative, but to provide superior VALUE at an affordable price.

Give us a call before you sign a contract with anybody - even if you choose somebody else you can do so with information and know you had a choice. We'd love for you to choose us, but it's your choice - don't let anybody convince you otherwise.

Do you or someone you know need to have an auction?

Have you been told that you might not have "enough" to justify the expense of having an auction?

Were you told by another auctioneer that it was going to cost a fortune to sell your items?

DON'T GIVE UP ON HAVING AN AUCTION
CONSIDER WHAT WE CALL "PLAN BEE"

In the nature of "Plan B", or the back-up plan, Bee Branch Auction Company has affordable solutions to assist sellers and families with auctions that may not "work" for auctioneers that have sizable overhead expenses. As a family-operated enterprise, we don't have the expenses or payroll considerations that some of the larger companies must pass along to their customers.

It's not that we're "cheaper" because we have to, or because we're "not as good", but because we don't have the expenses that the larger operations have. The difference means that we can be affordable when others can't, by simply passing the savings on to our customers. We're not fancy, and we don't have shiny new equipment - but what we do have is EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE about how to get your items SOLD, and offer solutions that won't cost a fortune.

We may not be your first choice, and that's ok... We've always believed that the market needs a solid and reliable second choice - "PLAN B" if you will.. So, before you give up on having an auction, give us a look. We'll give you an honest assessment and hopefully a welcome surprise. Even though we may be "Plan B",you can call us first - we won't be offended..

YOU WON'T GET STUNG WHEN YOU GO WITH PLAN BEE
Give us a call and see if we can find you an auction solution.

Spring is here, COVID is starting to loosen it's grip on public gatherings, and it's time to get back to live auction. A year and a half of "cabin fever" that usually only lasts a few months - and people with money to spend - makes this the prime time to consider an auction.

An auction does not have to be an expensive proposition. Sure, you have to have things to sell that people want to buy, and you have to be able to let them know that you're selling, but that doesn't mean you have to have $100,000 or more to sell to make it worth while. Smaller auctions have their place, and just because one auctioneer doesn't think it will work for them doesn't mean it won't work at all.

You can consign your items to somebody's on-line auction and hope that the bidder 3 states away considers it worth the trip or worth shipping. For some items, that may well be the best alternative, but that's not for everybody, nor every asset.

You can have a yard sale, spend 2 days pricing items (hoping you aren't too high or too cheap), sit around waiting on buyers (who will almost all try to buy cheaper than you have the items marked, even if your prices are low), then either pack what's left back into your garage or find somebody to take it all for pennies on the dollar, if they'll take it at all.

Or you can start with "Plan Bee"... Give us a call and we can come and look over what you want to sell. If it looks like it will be hard to draw a crowd or items are of little value or interest to the public, we'll be honest with you and say so. But having been in the auction business for over 40 years, we might see something that you consider unimportant - something that will bring buyers to you.

Sure, if you have farm machinery, real estate or large collections of antiques, we are more than capable of serving your needs, as well. But, even then, we try to offer affordable options. Quite frankly, sometimes we are cheaper, other times we may not be. But no matter the auction or seller's circumstances, we try to find a solution that fits your assets, at a price you can afford.

Professional Auctioneering doesn't have to be expensive to be effective. You have options, so give "PLAN BEE" a chance before you make a decision. We strive to find affordable auction solutions, and often can find you the "honey" without you getting stung.

Every auction is unique. Every seller has specific needs. We find economical ways to generate the "BUZZ" for your auction. We can't force you to save money, but we have no problem helping you if you ask.
