Our Story

In 1991 Carl Ekborg started a small, part-time toner remanufacturing company under the business name American Lazer Cartridge Company. He ran the business in the basement and garage of his home in Beverly. In July 1993 he decided to pursue his business full time and added repair of laser printers to the business and later returned to providing office equipment repair, supplies and service. American Lazer moved to the front of 140 Elliott Street in Beverly in September, 1997 and to larger space within the building in October 2000. In July, 2010, American Lazer moved into its present location at 25 Cox Court in Beverly, doubling its office and warehouse. In January 2017 American Lazer expanded it services to include Managed IT Services and outsourced IT department. In November of 2017 American Lazer acquired The Copier Connection, at 3 Graf Road Unit 7 Newburyport MA again doubling our office and warehouse. March 1st 2019 Century Copier Specialist was acquired, it is located at 62 Route 125 Kingston, NH.
