Seven AI tools I think are worth playing with right now, especially if you create content or run a business: Claude Cowork, ChatGPT Work, Blotato, Higgsfield, Kling AI, Genspark, and Perplexity Comet.

I'd say try each one for about an hour before you decide. Most of us only ever learn one tool, and that's usually where we get stuck.

Most people make AI think and write at the same time.

That usually produces the first acceptable idea in polished language.

Split the job instead:

PHASE 1 — THINK
Generate options, compare tradeoffs, identify risks, and recommend a direction.

PHASE 2 — WRITE
Turn the chosen direction into the finished deliverable for the intended audience.

Separating the two gives you better reasoning and better writing.

The shift in AI right now isn't a smarter chatbot. It's the move from answering to doing.

Typical chatbots answer questions and give suggestions. That's it. You're still doing all the actual work.

A real AI agent handles multi-step tasks, takes action in the background, and only comes back to you when it actually needs a decision.

That's the difference worth paying attention to as more of these agent tools show up. Not "can it chat," but "can it finish the job without you babysitting every step."

This is the prompt behind my inbox employee. I think the "danger of dropping" list is the part that pays for itself.

Here's the prompt:

You are my inbox employee. I'll paste in my latest emails. For each one:
1. Sort it: Reply now, Reply later, Delegate, or Ignore.
2. For Reply now, draft the response in my voice: short, direct, no filler.
3. Flag anything risky (money, legal, an upset person, a promise I might regret) and do not draft it. Tell me what the risk is.
4. Keep a "Danger of dropping" list: anyone waiting on me longer than two days, what they need, and the next step.
Give me four sections: Drafts, Flagged, Danger of dropping, and Everything else (one line each).

There's a massive gap opening up in the AI world. Most of what's on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook is unbelievably basic, and the people who really use AI are doing things you wouldn't believe.

While I was walking around Comic-Con, ChatGPT Astra was at home building my business. It sent outreach emails and answered messages on my behalf. And honestly, it wasn't that complicated to set up.

You probably do not need another AI tool.

You need one repeatable workflow that turns an input you already have into an outcome you already need.

Tool collecting feels productive because designing the workflow forces harder questions: Where does information come from? What rules govern the work? Who approves exceptions? Where does the result go?

Here's how I make carousels with AI, and I think it's simpler than most people expect. ChatGPT writes the plan, makes page 1, builds the rest of the slides, and sends them straight to Canva.

Are you using Claude to its full potential?

Most people are using about 20% of what Claude is capable of.

The real jump comes when you stop relying on isolated prompts and start giving Claude access to your files, your tools, your projects, and the way you actually work.

Give Claude the real source material instead of pasting fragments into a chat. Build Claude Skills for any process you've explained more than once. Connect your tools, Gmail, Google Drive, calendars, so Claude has real context. Let Claude interview you instead of obsessing over the perfect prompt.
