Spring Back Utah Mattress Recycling is committed to diverting mattresses from landfills and providing hope and meaningful work for individuals facing barriers to employment. We want to help preserve our mountains, valleys, canyons, rivers, and lakes for generations to come. We partner with mattress retailers, hotels, universities, hospitals, the military, landfills, waste management companies, ind
ividuals and families to accomplish their sustainability goals. Mattress recycling is being grafted into corporate policy for many entities who are committed to lessening their footprint. With the consumer base becoming increasingly environmentally conscious this creates an opportunity for mattress retailers, hotels, waste management businesses, institutions, etc. to add to their environmental initiatives as well as gain market differentiation by including mattress recycling in their green commitment. At Spring Back Utah we are also committed to our social mission of providing meaningful work for individuals with barriers to employment. We have partnered with various community organizations helping folks transition back into society. Our employees manually deconstruct the mattresses and sort/bale the components for recycling. We believe employment is deeply connected to these men becoming the fathers, husbands, friends, citizens, and providers they were created to be. Combining employment with environmental good has an exponential impact on our employees. They feel they are members of a team and have a hand in working for something that has deep meaning. Through landfill waste diversion and second chance employment we have seen our partners benefit as they take initiative to become industry leaders in environmental sustainability. As a result of our partner’s efforts, communities will benefit as we work together to do our part in making our world a better place.
