Being a caregiver is hard. Taking on my sister in law has been one of the hardest yet rewarding things I have ever done. This weekend was her performance. She along with everyone one else in her performance looks forward to this for months. Watching this makes all the hard worth it.

Here's to 45! I’m so grateful for these 45 trips around the sun. Some people like to hide their age, but I wear mine proudly. In 45 years I’ve done a lot,some things I’m more proud of than others, but what I’m most proud of is the amazing family I get to call mine.

My husband, my four boys, my daughter-in-law, my boys’ two wonderful girlfriends, and my sweet sister-in-law who I have the privilege of caring for—they are truly my greatest blessings. Life has a funny way of reminding you what matters most, and for me, it’s always been family.

I’m so excited for this next chapter and everything I’ll continue to learn, the ways I’ll grow, and all that’s still ahead. Thank you all so much for the love.

I am incredibly lucky to have some amazing women in my life. I have an amazing mom, daughter in law, sister in laws and friends. I am not sure how I would do life without any of them. I am so appreciative of all the women in my life past and present. Ladies, leave your mark!!

While going through a trial have you ever muttered the word "why?". I have!

I have found that the next time I have a similar situation/problem I am much more prepared and ready to handle the situation. It also allows me to help walk someone else through a similar trial.
