For immediate hire! - I am looking for a CFII interested in going on several long distance cross country flights as we build time in my 1981 Cutlass Cessna 172 RG. Plane has a 3 blade, constant speed prop and retractable landing gear. Plan is to do several long cross country flights.
We will split cost of flights. Any instruction given, I'll reduce from your 50% of travel costs.
Who am I? I'm a private pilot... and looking to complete my IFR training. First 15 hours of IFR, I'll compensate $30 an hour when instruction is given. I do expect help covering 50% of operating costs.
Plane costs $100 an hour to operate wet. Any time when not giving instruction, I'll ask for $50. Any time when giving instruction, I'll reduce by $30 an hour. Essentially, it will cost you $20 an hour for you to build time in a plane that normally rents for 179 an hour (when giving instruction).
Plane is based in Vero Beach at KVRB.
Anticipated Routes: Vero Beach to Roanoke Virginia (ROA); Vero Beach to Provo UT (KPVU) Vero Beach to Key West, and Vero Beach to Bimini.
Lodging not included unless we fly to homes of friends and family. (I have access to lodging in Virginia, Utah, and California.
