You can increase the longevity of your oil free pump by periodically flushing air through the pump in order to push out any food or water particulates that may have entered the pump from the freeze dryer during your batches. The current software includes an automatic air flush at the end of each batch for 5 minutes. If you start to notice any black discharge coming from your oil free pump during this time, you may want to manually flush your pump beyond the 5 minute auto flush. You can do this by disconnecting your pump from your freeze dryer and plugging it in in your garage or another area where the noise and discharge won't be a problem. We recommend running the pump in this way letting the air flush through it for 30 minutes in order to clean it out. Afterwards you can reattach it to your freeze dryer and prepare for your next batch. It can also be helpful to do this manual air flush before letting your pump sit unused for any extended period of time.😄

The main differences between an oxygen absorber and a deoxidizer are their functions and chemical compositions:
1. Oxygen Absorber:
- Function: Oxygen absorbers are designed to remove oxygen from sealed packages to prevent oxidation, which can lead to spoilage, rancidity, and loss of flavor in food products.
- Composition: They typically contain iron powder, which reacts with oxygen to form iron oxide, effectively reducing the oxygen level in the package.
2. Deoxidizer:
- Function: Deoxidizers also aim to reduce oxygen levels but may have a broader application, including protecting non-food items (like electronics) from oxidation and corrosion.
- Composition: Deoxidizers can use various chemicals, including metal salts or other compounds, to absorb moisture and oxygen, depending on the specific application.
In summary, while both oxygen absorbers and deoxidizers serve to reduce oxygen levels, oxygen absorbers are primarily used in food preservation, whereas deoxidizers can be used in a wider range of applications, including protecting non-food items.

REPOST!😀

To use the Harvest Right impulse sealer, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the Sealer: Connect the impulse sealer to a power source.
2. Prepare the Bag: Place the plastic bag you want to seal inside the sealer.
3. Set the Sealing Time: Adjust the timer to your desired sealing time (for example, three seconds).
4. Seal the Bag: Press down on the sealer and hold it until the light turns off. This indicates that the sealing process is complete.
5. Check the Seal: Once the light is off, you can release the sealer. The bag may feel warm to the touch, which is normal.
If you have any specific questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
