COMPAX is hiring a meticulous, detail oriented, full-time Quality Receiving Inspection Specialist for our Salt Lake City location. Good detail, communication, and decision making capabilities in this role are crucial for maintaining high quality products.

Responsibilities:
*Responsible for inspection of labels, packaging components, and raw materials upon receipt or request.
*Responsible for recording and communicating inspections and quality related issues, questions and decisions.
*Responsible for communicating between departments and roles and with customer representatives to ensure quality issues and concerns are appropriately addressed.
*Responsible for sorting and reworking items on quality hold, and/or coordinating with other departments to facilitate sorting and reworking projects.
*Responsible for collecting and inspecting samples from production for qualifications and analysis of tooling and processes.
*Responsible for assisting Quality Department teammates and other roles as appropriate to support a positive environment focused on consistent production of high quality products and continual improvement.

Experience and Requirements:
*Be motivated to see projects through to the end even when working under relatively little supervision.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a positive, professional demeanor is essential for this role.
*We are seeking a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and/or training in quality assurance.
*Familiarity and comfort using Microsoft Word and Excel are necessary for this role. *Basic math skills and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are also required.

Description:
*Have a passion for machinery and production? Seeking a hands-on role that will provide you with the opportunity to produce the highest quality product possible? Then look no further. COMPAX's Blow Molding Technicians are a crucial piece of our team, responsible for ensuring the quality operation of the extrusion blow molding line, including ancillary and downstream equipment. Responsibilities include change over’s, set ups, processing of parts, materials, and colors. Technicians in our SLC facility are responsible for processing HDPE bottles, handleware, and jars.

Requirements:
*A Technician is required to read and interpret documents, as well as write routine reports and correspondence.
*Technicians must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
*Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals with the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
*COMPAX Technicians multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment. They use hand tools and standard power tools on a regular basis.
*Technicians may work long hours to perform repairs and installation of new equipment, as they help us meet project deadlines.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a positive, professional demeanor is essential for this role.

Experience:
*We are seeking a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and/or training in blow mold or tube operations or like experience. Experience working with Bekum blow molding machines is preferred but not required.
