Most small businesses do not think about IT until something breaks.

Email stops working. A laptop dies. Wi-Fi gets flaky. Someone gets locked out of an account.

I get it, tech is usually not the thing you want to deal with when you are trying to run a business.

That is where Bees IT Security & Support comes in.

I can help when something is already broken, but I can also help clean things up before small issues turn into expensive headaches.

Email problems, device support, two-factor authentication, backups, Wi-Fi issues, account access, cybersecurity, and the random “why is this not working?” stuff, I help small businesses keep things running without making it more complicated than it needs to be.

Need help now, or want a second set of eyes before something breaks? Shoot me a message.

FREE IT HEALTH CHECK Ends May 31

I’m helping a few small businesses sanity check their IT setup, especially teams with remote or distributed staff.

I’ll review your devices, user access, security, backups, and onboarding process and give you a clear breakdown of where you may be exposed, what is slowing your team down, and what I would improve.

Most companies your size are doing a lot right but still have a few blind spots that can lead to downtime, security risk, or unnecessary cost. The goal is to give you simple, practical insight you can actually use.

No pressure and no sales pitch. Just useful feedback.

I only have a few spots open this month. Message me before the end of May if you would like one!

Security isn’t about having the most tools.

It’s about:
• Knowing what you’ve exposed
• Understanding who has access
• And making sure those two things actually align

I’ve worked with environments that had solid toolin but still had critical gaps simply because no one stepped back and looked at the full picture.

Sometimes the biggest improvement isn’t adding something new, it’s tightening up what already exists.

That’s where real security maturity starts.

With all the recent data breach news popping up again lately, it’s a good reminder that most small businesses don’t get hit because of anything “advanced”… it’s usually simple stuff.

The most common things I see:

No MFA on email accounts (especially Microsoft 365)
Overly open cloud storage / file access
Weak or reused passwords across accounts

None of these are hard to fix, they just get overlooked until something happens.

If anyone wants a quick sanity check on their setup, I’ve got a little availability this week.

Call now to connect with business.

I’m currently taking on a few IT and security clients and have some availability.

I typically help with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace security, email protection, and general small business IT cleanup.

I recently completed a cloud security audit for a startup ahead of launch and helped address several common gaps.

If you or someone you know could use help in that area feel free to reach out!

Putting this out there again, I do security-focused IT consulting for small businesses and startups.

Most of my work is around identity, access, cloud security, configuration cleanup, and vulnerability scanning but I also help with related IT work when it ties into security or reliability.

If you need a second set of eyes, help tightening things up, or just want to make sure you’re not missing anything obvious, feel free to comment or DM!

Most businesses don’t think about data backups… until they suddenly need them.

Data loss doesn’t usually come from dramatic cyberattacks. More often, it’s caused by everyday issues like hardware failure, accidental deletion, ransomware emails, or damaged devices.

When there’s no usable backup, the result can be downtime, lost revenue, and unnecessary stress for owners and employees alike.

The good news is that data loss is one of the most preventable IT problems.

Every business should have:

Automatic, scheduled backups

More than one copy of critical data

Off-site or cloud-based storage

Periodic testing to confirm data can be restored

Clear responsibility for managing backups

If you’re not confident your business could fully recover its data today, it may be time for a review.

At Bee’s IT Security and Support LLC we help small and medium businesses implement reliable, easy-to-manage backup solutions and verify they actually work, without unnecessary complexity or enterprise-level costs.

If you have questions about your current backups or would like a quick, no-pressure review, feel free to reach out!

Why the AWS and Microsoft Outages Happened and What DNS Has to Do With It

Recently, both AWS and Microsoft had large service disruptions. The core issue came down to DNS which is basically the internet’s address book. It tells computers where to find services when you type in a name like login.microsoftonline.com.

When DNS records break, even temporarily, systems can’t find each other. That means logins fail, emails stall, and cloud dashboards time out even though the actual servers are still running fine.

Outages like this remind everyone that “the cloud” isn’t magic. When major providers stumble, your local setup (routing, caching, and fallback options) can determine how much you feel the impact.

That’s where we can help: we focus on keeping small business systems healthy, local infrastructure tight, and networks ready for when the big players hiccup.
