Apparently, thirst travels.

Annemarie Gusmano enjoys some mahjong and a bottle of our 2022 Vin de Soif Rosé down in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Vin de soif translates as “thirst quencher”—but really means the kind of w**e you open because you’re thirsty, pour generously, and don’t spend twenty minutes discussing its existential relationship with limestone in the soil.

From Washington State to the Florida coast, Argonne gets around.

Magnolia, you were looking mighty fine last night.

A huge merci to the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce for another terrific W**e Walk — and to our wonderful hosts at Windermere for giving the Argonne crew a place to pour, pontificate about w**e, and generally make ourselves at home.

We saw familiar faces, made new friends, poured a lot of w**e — and judging by the empty bottles, Magnolia takes its responsibility to support Washington w**e very seriously.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by, tasted with us, laughed with us, bought some w**e…and occasionally returned for “just one more little taste.”

Argonne Cellars’ own Curatice de l’Expérience du Vin and UPS alum, Samantha “Sam” Butler recently reunited with her former French professor, Michel Rocchi. This time, the curriculum included a subject near and dear to both French and American hearts, w**e.

The evening’s lesson: Argonne Cellars Syrah. Looks like Michel approves the curriculum. 😉

“White w**e with fish” is a rule invented by people who clearly didn’t have this Syrah.

Join Argonne Cellars at NBHD W**e & Market in Magnolia for an afternoon exploring four distinctive w**es from one remarkable mountain.

Our $25 Red Mountain flight includes:

2020 Cabernet Sauvignon
2020 Malbec
2020 Petit Verdot
2021 Syrah

We’ll also be pouring our 2022 Vieilles Vignes Chardonnay by the glass, along with Porto Tonico — white Port, tonic, lime and rosemary. A perfect summer afternoon.

This Sunday, the old Argonne Cellars Chevy is heading to the 35th Annual Magnolia Village Car Show, parked conveniently in front of NBHD W**e & Market.

The car show runs 8:00–3:30.

From 2:00–5:00, we’ll be inside NBHD pouring A Taste of Red Mountain — four of our favorite reds, plus Chardonnay and Porto Tonico by the glass.

See the truck. Drink the w**e.
