We are honored to be a part of the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission "We Hire Vets” employer recognition program. Most of our staff, subcontractors, and consultants are veterans, as we believe it is critical to our mission and the success of our clients to hire individuals with lived experience. They provide their unique perspective on veteran-serving nonprofits, strategic planning projects, and grant submissions. Having the right people at the table is one of the key factors that sets The GOLD Beacon apart from the rest.

I’m thrilled to share that The GOLD Beacon is taking the next big step in its journey! After three amazing years in a business incubator, where we’ve grown, thrived, and expanded our reach, it’s time to spread our wings and operate fully independently.

This graduation marks a pivotal moment of success for The GOLD Beacon. With 18 incredible contractors and a business structure that allows us to deliver expert consulting services worldwide, we’re proud to continue empowering nonprofits and individuals who are passionate about making a difference. From helping people start nonprofits to educating the public on the vital role nonprofits play in our world, our mission remains stronger than ever.

Here’s a glimpse at what we’ve accomplished:
✨ Developed over 30 strategic plans, leading to a combined 150+ years of organized, efficient, and effective nonprofit operations, goals, and impacts for nonprofits nationwide.
✨ Secured over $2 million in grant funding for clients, fueling their missions and amplifying their impact.
✨ Received 12 business and leadership awards, recognizing our commitment to excellence and innovation.
✨ Delivered over 550 hours of training, mostly pro bono, to support the successful development of nonprofit agencies and social change advocates.
