Content must be relevant to your audience to keep their continued engagement and loyalty. So you may wonder why my graphic shows playing cards. Well, AARP piqued my interest from their very first email campaign (I'm showing my age right now). As a member, I not only receive discounts (which have more than covered my $16 investment) but the content they put out is written for me. I look forward to seeing their content - the emails, the social posts, and the website articles. When I don't have time to read it, I file it for later. Today's email offered a free course on how to play Canasta - hence the graphic! I'm in! They have my attention, and they have my loyalty.

2024...New Year...New Goals...New Opportunities

If you're like me, sometimes you get so caught up in helping others with their business needs, that you sacrifice your own! I'm currently handling social media for 6 clients, so it's easy for my own posts to get pushed to the wayside.

But shouldn't I practice what I preach if I'm reminding clients how important it is to stay in front of their audience? The answer is YES! So 2024 is my time to get back on track with posting. Watch for tips, trends, stats, and more!

We did it! OnPointPlus officially hits the 5-year anniversary mark today!

When I started this journey, my goal was to continue doing what I love (sales and marketing), while branching out within my new local community of San Antonio to meet new friends and business partners. San Antonio has been good to me! In return, OnPointPlus has donated more than 5% of our earnings to support local organizations such as the SA Cancer Council, Chromosome 18, the American Cancer Society of San Antonio, and Impact SA.

A special thank you to Randy Hidalgo (my husband and my "why"), Becky DeNeau and Eric Collander (amazing designers with BE Creative), BethAnn McCoy (Writer and Copy Editor of McCoy Communications), and our current clients: EmeraldX, DesignQuest Media, Cynthia Parsons Realty Group, The Myriam Mellen Agency, BAABCO Leadership Consulting, SA Cancer Council, and GFood. A business friend of mine once said to me "You don't have to know how to do it all -- you just need to know the people who can." It's true. And that's why having the right team in place matters. I have a small team that I trust, love, and respect. But I also have a large network of people I reach out to frequently to help find solutions for me (or a client) when it's outside our wheelhouse. If you are a business leader, make sure you have strong connections. If you need help with marketing and/or graphic design, you just found one.
