We’re setting up a table at the Veterans GovCon Prep Fair on June 30, and we want to see you there.
It’s a full day for veteran-owned businesses going after federal and Texas state contracts. Workshops, panels, and real technical help, with the GSA, the Office of the Texas Governor, the Texas Comptroller (VetHub and CMBL), and the Texas Veterans Commission. San Antonio is going to Ireland this October. 🇮🇪

We are putting together a small group of San Antonio companies to represent our city at the Futura Innovation Conference in Limerick, October 19 to 22. Three companies are already in. We have room for about six more.

Why go together? Futura brings 1,500+ people from 15+ countries into one walkable city, across seven industry tracks. Founders, investors, government, and researchers in the same rooms. Going as a recognized city group opens doors that are hard to reach on your own.

We almost wrapped a chapter I hope is the first of many.
Abena came here as a Circular Economy Research Fellow through the YPL Fellowship, hosted by . He leaves with a completed Circular Economy Playbook and a full strategic plan for his company, Pacific NRGies, in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

San Antonio moved fast this week.

Meetings with small business owners talking through staffing, growth, sustainability, and operations. The real conversations people usually keep behind closed doors.

We attended AIM 2026 Health R&D Summit with VelocityTX and pitched ABOV3. Needed conversations around health, innovation, and what’s next.

Started building a partnership with and left with bigger ideas than we walked in with. The best meetings usually do that.

Spent the evening at the REC () with Impact Guild () and the Climate Ready Neighborhoods Network talking about resilience, neighborhoods, and what collaboration actually looks like in this city. Also, if you haven’t visited the REC yet, go.

And in between all of it, we kept working with Abena, our fellow visiting from Papua New Guinea. Showing someone San Antonio through your own eyes changes the way you see the city too.

Partnerships matter now more than ever. Shared resources. Hard conversations. Late follow-ups. Building while figuring it out together.

That’s how community gets built, by doing things together.

Kicked off something new today ☕️

We met with Abena, our fellow through the Young Pacific Leaders Professional Fellows Program with , and officially started work on our Circular Economy/ Sustainability Playbook for small businesses in San Antonio, which he will take back home to Papua New Guinea.

This project is focused on one thing: making sustainability practical. Real actions that small businesses can actually use everywhere.

We also had our new intern Priya join us today. She’s a Business Analytics student with skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI, helping us turn ideas into real insights.

Grateful to be building this work with people who bring global perspective and real experience to the table.

And big thank you to for hosting us today. Always a great space to meet, think, and get things moving.
