💥💥💥 The Power of the Child 💥💥💥
Daily and intentional possibility thinking can be harder as we get older. The reason for this is easy to understand - with each day that passes (of course assuming we're given another day that is 💡) we're subject to the sage Rocky's sunshine and rainbows speech regarding life:
"It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it."
Of course many children within their tender lives have not faced the brutality of this reality yet, so as the world famous Boston Philharmonic Conductor Benjamin Zander said, if we can "harness of the power of the child" who live and dream daily in hope and possibility over the standard human position of fear and resentment, our lives over the long term will be marked by significance as never before.
Not forgetting the powerful example of Beethoven, who as a deaf musician was cut off from the world without any real companionship throughout his life, gave us a beacon of hope within humanity to keep close to heart. Benjamin Zander reminds us that the ultimate lesson of Beethoven's live is:
"Whatever the struggle, whatever the despair, whatever the horror that we experience, there's ALWAYS a pathway to triumph."
