I encountered an angel…

Yesterday, I had went to my favorite coffee shop and sat down to work.

I pulled out my Bible and rested my head down on the table and began to speak in my prayer language.

I didn’t pay attention to anyone around me.
I wasn’t concerned if someone heard me.
I just prayed out loud.

There was a deep groaning in my spirit that was coming out in tongues.

I knew I was praying something very deep.

This carried on for about 30 minutes.
I lost all track of time.
It was just me and the Lord.

The Lord began to give me crazy visions.
I saw tornadoes of fire around Austin, Tx.
I saw a large hurricane surrounding the city.
And the only thing left was the warrior horsemen with green masks and swords.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had a vision like this.

Almost exactly a year ago I had a vision very similar with San Antonio with wild horses and fire.

And then the Lord began to speak to me.

For the last year of my life I’ve made inner vows that I wouldn’t do certain things. And, Sunday at I repented to the Lord and received forgiveness.

So, in this moment the Lord started speaking loudly about an assignment.

One I’ve been dreading.
One I’ve been running from.
One that my flesh has been screaming no about.
And, more…He declared a city I said I’d never choose.

This encounter went on for hours. And I felt the heaviness of the Glory of God fall on me. I felt drunk in the spirit. I honestly kind of forgot where I was.

I picked my head of from my Bible and a man, who appeared as if he was floating, sat a piece of paper on my table.

He had no voice, no facial emotion, and I watched him drift out of the room never to be seen again.

This picture is one that he handed me.
It’s me in an encounter I’ll never forget.

And I heard the Lord say, “I gave you this picture so you will never forget this day and the assignment I’ve called you to”.

I was mind blown. And in my humanity, I tested God and asked Him to reveal it again that day if it was true.

At 5pm, He did just that.

I got a message on Instagram from a stranger that declared exactly what He told me.

Holy visitations are absolutely WILD 🤯🤯🤯

I remember sitting in the middle of everything I’d built and feeling nothing.

Not gratitude. Not peace. Just the quiet conviction that I had spent years constructing something that had my name on it instead of His.

Taylor was on her own journey — fighting through seasons that looked good from the outside but were quietly breaking her on the inside. Addiction. Anxiety. The pressure to achieve that never actually satisfied.

We both came to the same altar by different roads.

And God met us both there.

Now we get to do this — side by side, callings aligned, building in public what He first built in private. Iron Forge for the men who need their strength forged in something eternal. Kingdom Builders for the women who are ready to lead from identity instead of performance.

called it a Kingdom Power Couple feature.

I just call it two people who finally stopped building for themselves.

Whatever God does with it from here — 12 locations, 120, or more — it was always His to begin with.

To my wife — watching you walk in your calling is one of the greatest gifts of my life. Let’s keep building. 🔥

Liam means “strong willed protector” and that he is.
This little guy loves the Lord, knows the bible, prays like a grown man, knows the fruit of the spirit like the back of his hand, and is such a lover…and a fighter.

Happy 6th Birthday Liam. I love you so much!

“He who finds a wife finds a good thing… a wife of noble character is her husband’s crown.” – Proverbs 12:4

This past Saturday at Weights & Worship, I found myself in a place I’ve been before—waiting on the Lord for a word for His people.

Hours with Him… and nothing.

The night before, my wife Taylor laid there with me until 11:30, just seeking God together. Praying. Listening. Waiting. No rushing. No forcing. Just trust.

Morning came… still nothing.

We started the workout, and I was still in that place of surrender—“Lord, if You don’t speak, I won’t speak.”

And in the middle of it, my wife walked into the room, put her hands on me, and prayed over me.

In that moment, I was reminded: I don’t carry this alone. I was never meant to.

God has given me a wife who doesn’t just stand beside me—she contends with me. She prays with me. She seeks the Lord with me. She strengthens me. She covers me.

She is my crown.

God has taken my past—my brokenness, my failures, my past relationships—and He didn’t waste any of it. He redeemed it. He restored it. And He gave me a covenant that reflects Christ and His Church.

Taylor, you are the love of my life and my partner in every part of this calling. We are one. And it is the greatest honor of my life to do ministry with you—to serve, to love people, and to expand the Kingdom of God together until my last breath.

Thank You, Lord, for my wife.

The world of crystals, fake gods, manifestation, “building your empire,” and turning yourself into a god—it’s all a lie.

The truth is Jesus Christ.

He hung on a cross for His children and rose again so you and I could live in relationship with the King of Kings.

Everything else is counterfeit.

Prove me wrong.
