We're often asked: How do you know what to keep and what to discard?

Before working with us, it's normal to have anxiety about the process. Studies show that moving causes stress near the levels of death and divorce. Sorting through the contents of a home can be the same experience.

Knowing this and having supported so many clients through the process, our first task is always a detailed intake and time spent understanding the unique needs and parameters of each client and their project.

We often make groupings of categories of items and check in with the client before any decisions are made. We consider client needs, connections to items, practicality, and the scope of the project at every step.

Recently, we assisted a client with pre-listing services, managed their move, and then unpacked and set up their home. We began with paring down and decluttering.

Later we coordinated with the movers to transport boxes and furniture to a storage unit, and once the house went under contract, we began Phase II, which included the packing, move management logistics and services, unpacking, and then fine tuning.

All of our projects are great, but following a project from pre-sale to unpacking and setting up the home is particularly satisfying. 🤌

Unpacking day for our clients! This wonderful couple has been together *60 years,* and is moving to the perfect home for them.

Due to some recent medical needs, their move was pushed up by two weeks, so we restrategized and made it all happen!

Happy to do one of our favorite parts now, organizing, making a logical map for living, and making it all look beautiful.
