Client is looking for an energetic manager with connections in the local bar scene and a passion for the beverage alcohol?industry to help launch two exciting new products. ???
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Manager will primarily act as the face of the brand in on- and off-premise accounts to engage consumers and trade. The PM is responsible for the oversight and ex*****on of all assigned programming. The field marketing program focuses primarily on conducting consumer sampling activity in bars and retail outlets and creating Brand Evangelists within key accounts.
Other areas of focus include managing, developing, leading and training a team of part-time promotional staff and building business-to-business relationships with assigned accounts where consumer & trade engagement activity takes place.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing and executing weekly administrative tasks such as completing event recaps, payroll completion, managing inventory and storage unit, scheduling and managing program objectives, goals and metrics within the designated market.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND SKILLS
Develop and maintain relationships with industry players and accounts. Work closely with local sales team to ensure program and product sell-in.
Secure menu placements and new drink features.
Schedule promotions in target accounts.
Share key successes and challenges with local sales to improve program impact and performance.
Manage on- and off-premise sampling and provide ongoing training to a team of promotional staff.
Conduct consumer engagement activities as required and scheduled by HQ.
Act as Lead during all types of consumer engagement activity.
Ability to interact with a diverse consumer audience, bar managers, clients and agency personnel.
Ensure all market deliverables and assignments are completed on time and accurately.
Achieve all program goals and metrics as outlined.
Capture and record information for weekly paperwork, including asset reconciliation, consumer insights, payroll, inventories and other required paperwork.
Available nights, weekends and during regular business hours for in-market administrative tasks, meetings, field audits, consumer engagement activity and trainings.
Office hours, evening and weekend activity vary depending on market, client and business needs.
Flexibility and willingness to be available during non-traditional hours is a must.
Manager on Duty and on-call responsibilities during nights and weekends.
Effective time management is required.
Ensure program and employee compliance with all agency, client-based, State and Federal guidelines. Responsible for quality control. Ex*****on must be in compliance with local Beverage Alcohol regulations.
Walking and standing is necessary during all in-field audits and consumer engagement activities (shifts typically last 2-5+ hours).
Notify HQ of all incidents immediately and submit required documents. Make recommendations for next steps to correct or resolve the incident that occurred.
Responsible for the security of assets and confirmation of daily inventory. Handle, safeguard and account for all client and agency property.
Timely and accurate reporting of all business-related expenses including submittal of invoices and receipts.
Ability to adapt and adjust to program shifts, policy and procedural changes as required and communicated by the agency.
Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and work independently, with little or no supervision.
Adaptable in fast-paced environments, while remaining proactive and efficient.
Present a positive image, embody leadership qualities and promote the agency and client with confidence and enthusiasm.
Regular and reliable attendance and strict punctuality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High personal motivation and sense of urgency.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Follow all agency and client policies and procedures as trained.
