God I am grateful.

A wonderful time in God’s presence this evening, celebrating my dear pastor a great man and prophet of God. Happy Birthday to you sir.

So… I got halfway to church and realised I’d left my bass at home. The realities of bringing my children to rehearsal with me! 😅 Thankfully, there was one at church I could use, so we kept it moving.

As I listened back to this rehearsal, the walking bass line stood out to me. There’s something about it constantly moving forward, one note leading to the next.

And sometimes, that’s exactly what faith looks like.

God may not reveal the entire journey before asking you to move. Sometimes He gives you one instruction, then waits for you to walk it out before revealing the next.

You don’t have to see the whole path to take the next step.

Trust Him.
Obey what He’s told you.
And keep walking. 🤍

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Had a wonderful time ministering for CCI Peterborough’s Tarry Prayer conference a few weeks back. We truly tarried in the presence of the Lord.

Grateful to for the call. All glory to God.

Don’t mind the serious concentration face 😅 I’m working on it 😂

One thing became clear: female Christian creatives need a space of our own. 🌿

So I created SELAH by The Green Room. A private community to connect, be heard, support one another and grow.

Pause. Be heard. Grow.

Membership is free and applications are now open.
Link in bio. 🤍

We can do better. Let’s change the narrative.

Musicians, please take your health seriously.

I had been dealing with migraines for a few weeks before recording this video, but I kept pushing through and played the entire service thinking it was “just a headache.”

The very next day, I ended up in hospital and was told that if I had left things any longer, the outcome could have been very different. 🕊️

It was a sobering reminder that we can be so committed to serving, creating and showing up that we ignore what our bodies are trying to tell us.

More than anything, though, this is a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

The song I was playing in this video says, “Lord, You are awesome… if it wasn’t for Your love, if it wasn’t for Your grace…” and watching it back now, those words carry a completely different weight.

I’m so grateful to God for His mercy, protection, healing and the gift of life. I’m also incredibly thankful for my husband, friends and family who rallied around me, and for my amazing church leadership who covered me in prayer and supported me through it all.

I’ve genuinely appreciated taking a short sabbatical to rest, recover and reset and I’m so excited to be back serving, creating and posting again.

Take care of the gift God has given you, including you. 🤍🙏🏾

Welcome to August! 🍃

This month, I pray that:

1. The land will yield good fruit for you.
2. Every door God has ordained for you will open.
3. You will walk in divine wisdom and discernment.
4. Your hands will prosper in all that God has called you to do.
5. You will experience God’s peace, even in uncertain moments.
6. Strength will replace weariness, and hope will overcome fear.
7. You will see God’s favour surrounding you wherever you go.
8. You will witness answered prayers and have fresh reasons to testify.

May this month be marked by God’s goodness, His faithfulness, and His presence in every area of your life.

“The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of His bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.” — Deuteronomy 28:12 🤍

Happy August! May it be a month of fruitfulness, favour, and fulfilment in Jesus’ name. Amen.
