1. Not every friendship needs to be saved.
Sometimes friendships are there for a season. Sometimes for a reason. Some friendship die for no reason. It’s okay to outgrow people without making them the villain.
2. Stop 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲.
It might not look like it did at 18. It might change after kids, stress, life, or just getting older. Take care of it instead of constantly shaming you are big & trying to “fix” it with expensive shapewear.
3. 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝.
You might be 30 and still figuring out your career. You might be 35 and just starting over. You might not own a house yet, have the savings you want, or have your dream job. That doesn’t mean you failed.
4. Don’t disappear inside a relationship.
Love someone. Build a life together. But keep your own identity, your own goals, your own friendships, and your own voice.
5. Call your parents.
One day you’ll realize that the little things you thought were annoying were actually precious. You won’t always have unlimited time with them.
6. You don’t have to announce every move to everyone.
Sometimes the best thing you can do is quietly work on yourself, your money, your career, your business, your family—and let the results speak later.
7. Someone can genuinely love you and still not be good for you.
Love doesn’t automatically fix incompatibility, disrespect, or a relationship that constantly drains you.
8. Don’t kill a dream just because it hasn’t happened yet.
Your current bank account, job, location, or circumstances don’t get to decide what your future has to look like.
9. Stop comparing your timeline to everyone else’s.
Someone bought a house at 25. Someone became a millionaire at 30. Someone had kids at 22. Someone started over at 40. Good for them. Your life is still yours.
10. You don’t need the whole plan before you start.
Most of us figure it out while doing it. Take the next step. Then another. Then another.
Your life doesn’t have to make sense to everyone else to be meaningful to you. 🤍
