My amazing Mom. Today is her 90th birthday. Here she’s is Easter weekend in her with a bouquet of for me to carry to my friend in San Antonio. Mom built this garden from scratch and grows flowers for our little in . We visited for four days and told tall tales. I learned that a man in Junction invented the but didn’t patent it! I learned that my Aunt Daisy had my piano teacher’s husband dug up because the funeral home accidentally buried him in her plot!! Mother has one of those phenomenal minds that has almost total recall. I can’t remember why I left my chair😉. Mother taught me to treasure cut flowers and make corsages and boutonnières from her . I wish I had 1/10th of her and practical knowledge of gardening. I asked her once if she was an and she laughed and said she was an 👩‍🌾🧡🐞. She taught me to draw and to color and to have an organized mind about doing both. My and chops come directly from Mom and watching her lay out her each year on big 1/4” grid paper she’d tape together. She taught me early on about and .
