We just discovered a private island 30 minutes from our house and I cannot believe I didn’t know about this sooner.

Son’s Island is a lakeside cabana experience right outside of San Antonio. Kayaks, paddleboards, lily pads, your own private waterfront space for up to 8 people. It genuinely feels like you left the country without leaving the area.

If you’ve driven past it on the highway you would have no idea it was back there.

10 out of 10. We have already told everyone we know and are planning our next trip back.
