Our Story

Hello, I’m Pete, Your Print Guy!

This is my story.

I was diagnosed with cancer when I was about 15-16 years old. I was a patient at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX and that forever changed my life. I went through a lot during those times but as a young kid with a great family behind me I made it through relatively easy. When you're young and dumb there's less worry haha basically. I could have had this negative perception of the city of Houston but I didn't. I chose to always think positively with the help of my family. My father taught me that through the right thinking and attitude anything was possible. My mom was always there for me with her love and my sister was the brave older sister always by my side. I ended up attending college at The Art Institute of Houston and graduating with my degree before I was of legal age to even drink a beer. Houston showed me what big city life was like and prepared me for where I am today. I learned how to manage large jobs and handle tight deadlines for large and small companies alike. I helped open multiple sign shops both franchise and mom and pop with much success. I always had an entrepreneurial spirit. At age 25 I had already decided that I wanted to work for myself, however this would prove to be more work than I imagined. I did not have a business degree and there was still much to learn. I started my own business which took of really well, but being so young I did not manage my money very well and I learned what other successful business people already knew. Without the business knowledge and understanding of relationships I could not move further. Having a 3 year old son, it was in my families best interest that I go back to what I knew I could do best and that was to work for someone and have a steady paycheck. Even though I really wanted to continue to work for myself and see myself grow, it simply wasn't my time. I went back to working at a signs shop and managing design and print production duties. I felt very comfortable but knew I could always do more. I used this time to continue to learn the business side of things and even started another job in which I managed a team and shop. All of this combined with social media icons and entrepreneurs I learned so much. Social media took me to the next step. There was so much information out there about being a successful business person that there was no other choice for me but to continue to want to grow my own business. I decided to take the leap again but this time I had developed skills and a mindset that could only lead to success. Everyday I am grateful for where I am at and celebrate the friendships and relationships I have built along my way. I now again operate as Kriptogfx, my original name founded in 2007. My clients know that I care about their companies and I want them to be a success. The world will give you what you ask for. Have a clear conscience and love and care for one another. Everyone has a different story, a different version of life and this is mine. Lets keep it going and make the best of everyday!
