Two firsts last week on one install!

On our lanai, we installed our first Furrion outdoor TV using one of Future Automation’s outdoor rated articulating mounts. The mount install went perfectly; the design is brilliant and makes moving the TV out and in a one-handed operation. The TV is a partial-sun model, fully rated against the elements, with an impact resistant screen; image is bright against the outdoors and with a matte screen; it is an excellent choice for year-round use any time of day.

We took advantage of our home’s HDAnywhere video matrix unit so that this TV could access numerous video sources from inside the house including Roku and the XBox One. This also allows us to link this TV with our Great Room TV so that both can show the same programming (in sync) whether entertaining or hosting sports parties (no more lag between TVs with multi room viewing). The sources for the TV are then linked to our URC whole house audio system to have TV audio play over the invisible Stealth Acoustics soffit Stingray models on the lanai.

Also I can sit outside and play Minecraft.

The beauty and versatility of has this tile wall singing. Along with assistance from the tile team, these beautiful coral tiles were milled to less that 1/4 inch, and marine grade epoxy was used to attach Amina Mobius 3 Invisible Speakers. This will be completed with a Total Control HDA Multizone Amp, but we’re currently testing with Bluetooth Amplifier.
