Our daycare goal is to prepare the children with the skillsets necessary to thrive in a school setting and be up to date with all requirements.
Over the summer we have spent weeks preparing the older children for the grades they would be going to in august and now the day has come.

Nutrition is just as important as play and outdoor time.
Meals are cooked from scratch, fresh and designed for the children’s liking.
We serve food family style( children serve themselves) and encourage the children to participate in the clean up process and setting up the table as well.
It gives them a sense of accomplishment,teaches them table manners and is a good opportunity to practice fine motor skills.
The more engaging the meal is the more likely the children are to eat and try new foods❤️

Involving children in meal preparation ( in an appropriate way according to their age groups) helps avoid picky eating and gives them a sense of accomplishment and autonomy over their day.
It also support fine motor skills, sensory skills, culinary skills and team work.
