We are aware of recent social media posts and discussions regarding an incident involving one of our employees who was seen using a company vehicle after hours and engaging in actions at a local park.
We want to be clear: the actions taken by this employee were not authorized by Alamo1, were not part of any official company activity, and do not reflect the values or policies of our organization. While the vehicle in question did bear our logo, the incident occurred outside of working hours and was not related to any company operation or directive.
We have reviewed the matter and understand that the situation, while concerning, is considered a civil matter by local authorities. Regardless, we take any behavior that could potentially harm our reputation or community trust very seriously.
Appropriate internal actions are being taken to ensure this does not happen again, and we are evaluating our policies surrounding company vehicle usage outside of work hours.
