Work-life-balance is crucial to maintaining your office organization.

A great way to do this is by keeping your different workstations unencumbered by your personal items like bills, mail, papers, etc. When these items are out of sight, we can focus on the work in front of us and keep our station organized. This is one of my favorite benefits of the KonMari Method™.

Whether you are or back in the office, it’s important for everyone to have a workspace that sparks creativity and passion instead of stress.

Here are 6 office organization tips you can implement to any workstation:
Joy check the items that live in your work area and keep only the necessary
Use the KonMari Method™by boxing items in drawers to keep things neat and tidy
Use organizing trays for your desktop to store and organize your office materials for your desktop
Share common spaces with family members or teammates by using storage areas or sturdy shelving
Leave your desk at the end of the day how you would like to see it at the beginning of the following day

Remember that joy is contagious and your example can inspire others to stay organized!

Featured is my current and final workstation!

Being a professional organizer, I myself have been discovering new and improved ways I can create my ideal workspace. After moving to a couple of different locations around my home, this room was the best fit.

Sometimes you have to keep trying different corners of your room and rearranging your furniture to get it just right for you. Use all available resources at your disposal like blogs (like mine!), social media, virtual assistance, and books including Joy at Work.

Although many of us are returning to work, most are still remote or settling into a hybrid model. There is still plenty of time to find a suitable workspace in your home where you can be your most productive.

Have you found your ideal workstation at home yet? 🙋‍♀️ Keep your hand raised if your workstation changed a few times over the past year? 🙋‍♀️

Finding an optimal place to work at home is key. But, it’s totally normal for that workstation to also change and adapt with your needs. Sometimes we realize that the kitchen table might not be the best fit, and a place more private is optimal.

Look at this lovely bar reset! Here is a great example of KonMari lessons spanning beyond the closet/bedroom. Everything featured in this bar is easily accessible and easily seen. This client does not need stress about not being able to find exactly what he needs when entertaining company. Notice the bright lemons on top that give a great accent touch!
