Marisa Puente, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, is a licensed acupuncturist, clinical herbalist, yoga instructor and owner of Radiant Wellness Acupuncture. Marisa completed her doctorate from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA.

Marisa is dedicated to helping each person enjoy a life of radiant health by providing effective holistic acupuncture treatments and bringing comfort, relief and balance to her patients.

Acupuncture is an ancient practice that reminds the body how to function so healing can take place. When needles are inserted into specific points a cascade of chemical reactions is initiated through the body which allows healing to unfold. Acupuncture has a wide range of applications and can be cosmetically as well as to treat injuries and pain, mental/emotional issues, stress, concussions, allergies, digestion disorder, and so much more.

Marisa specializes in pain management, cosmetic acupuncture, mental emotional issues, and women’s health.

Marisa has treated patients at UC San Diego’s Integrative Clinic, as well as student-athletes at UC San Diego’s Recreation, Intramural, and Athletic Complex (RIMAC).

While completing her doctorate she trained Navy SEALs in stretch therapy focusing in recovery, injury prevention and performance enhancement.
