T-2, T-37, T-38, F5, A-37, and F-4 aircraft worldwide. ATI is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and is a US-owned, small business, located at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport, in northern California. We were recently awarded the Region IX Prime Contractor of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Our FAA Class I Accessory Rating authorizes us to repair and overhaul nearly any commercial engine accessory.

Powering through history, the J85-17 turbojet engine delivers up to 2,450 lbf of thrust, powering the iconic Cessna A-37A/B, a light attack aircraft that evolved from the T-37 Tweet trainer. Introduced during the Vietnam War, the A-37 proved its mettle and remained in service during peacetime. The J85-17, a non-afterburning, single-shaft turbojet engine, was integral to the A-37's performance, enabling it to transition from training missions to combat roles effectively.

Aero Turbine, Inc. seeks an Engine Shop Mechanic Helper, a technician with mechanical experience in the complete teardown of aircraft turbine engine compressors and turbines for repair/overhaul.

The duties include:
• Assisting in disassembly.
• Completing internal documentation for high-level teardown findings.
• Assisting in the assembly and balancing of compressor and turbine rotor assemblies.
• Assisting in the assembly of compressor cases and turbine cases.

With thirty victories to his credit in 1944 and awaiting orders for leave, he volunteered for one more mission before his capture and held at Stalag Luft I, a prisoner-of-war camp for Allied airmen until May 1945. He briefly left service in 1946 but reenlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1947 and served in Korea.

Highly decorated and respected, he retired in 1967. Col. Gabreski died January 31, 2002, and is buried in Calverton National Cemetery.
