YOU MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF THE CCPA
The CCPA will apply to any organization doing business in California, whether the business has a physical presence or employees in the state. This landmark law secures new privacy rights for California consumers, giving them more control over the personal information that businesses collect about them. Less than one year after the CCPA took effect, California passed another consumer privacy law, the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), a major piece of legislation that further secured and changed several privacy rights for California consumers/employees. Are you prepared for those changes?
In order to comply with the new CPRA’s for consumer privacy rights. Businesses will need to establish processes to make sure they can respond swiftly to any consumer and employee requests. There may need to be major changes to existing security and privacy-related policies.
