I’m back on the torch and slowing things way down by running a set of hollow-form studies, repeating the same silhouettes in clear, color, and black/white. The aim isn’t finished work, but attention and containment, wall thickness, staying on axis, and noticing what changes when I’m not rushing toward an outcome.
These are practice pieces. I’m treating the bench less like a place to produce and more as a place to focus on what the glass is actually doing.
