For years, I had no idea I was carrying unexpressed grief.

I thought I had moved on.

I thought I was okay.

Until pregnancy awakened losses I had never truly processed.

Here’s what I want you to know:

Ignored grief doesn’t disappear. It waits.

It often shows up at the most unexpected and inconvenient times, through anxiety, anger, perfectionism, people pleasing, emotional exhaustion, or reactions that don’t seem to match the moment.

That’s exactly what happened to me.

Grief has a way of asking to be acknowledged.

The longer we avoid it, the louder it often becomes.

If you’ve been wondering, “Why am I reacting this way?” or “Why does this feel so much bigger than the moment?”

There may be grief underneath it.

Healing begins when we’re honest about what we’ve lost and give ourselves permission to process it.

💜 What you’ve ignored doesn’t have to control you forever. Sometimes the first step toward healing is simply recognizing that grief has been there all along.
