Growing up, I was always the girl who was sitting on the sidelines.
Never going out of her comfort zone because she was afraid and shy.
I never was “popular,” didn’t have attention from boys in high school.
I was a late bloomer (where are my fellow late bloomers?) and a “good girl”
I was envious of my friends and my peers who I thought weren’t scared of anything. They just DID things.
Finally at the end of high school, I started branching out.
I was getting more comfortable in my own skin (or at least was forcing myself out of my comfort zone)
If you would have told me in high school that I now own my own business, quit my “stable” job on a whim, and talk in front of a camera every day, I would have checked you into a mental institution 🫠
Literally
It’s wild how far we come when we take small steps toward ACTION
Quitting my job at the time seemed wild and scary to me - but I did it anyway.
Looking back now, I’m like “oh that was nothing”
Because my perspective has shifted.
Because I’ve been consistently taking action for 3 years now, those things don’t seem as scary. I’ve invested over $10k in education and mentors - but my first one? SCARY AS ALL HELL
High school me would have sweat through her clothes thinking about speaking in front of people - me now does it all the time.
Change in your situation doesn’t come from sitting on the sidelines.
Change comes from taking action (even if you don’t know what the exact “right” move is)
Change comes from investing in yourself and committing to something.
So, what is it you want to change?
I’m in your corner
