Job Title: Solar Technician – Bird Proofing & Panel Removal

Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

About the Role:

Solar Panel Cleaners LLC is hiring reliable and experienced Solar Technicians in the Phoenix area. Your main role will be to remove and reinstall solar panels in order to clean out bird nests, droppings, and debris, and to install professional-grade critter guard to prevent future nesting issues.

This is hands-on work ideal for individuals who are comfortable on roofs, work well in teams, and want a steady job with room for growth in the solar maintenance field.

Responsibilities:
• Safely lift, detach, and reinstall solar modules
• Remove bird nests, droppings, and other debris from under panels
• Install critter guard mesh along the perimeter of solar arrays
• Maintain job site cleanliness and safety at all times
• Document completed work with photos and reports
• Communicate clearly with team leads and customers when needed

Requirements:
• Experience in solar, roofing, or general construction preferred
• Comfortable working on rooftops and using ladders
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in hot Arizona weather
• Familiar with hand and power tools (drills, snips, safety gear)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred (but not mandatory — we can help get certified)

Systems Installed Before August 5, 2024
If your SunPower residential solar system was installed by an approved SunPower dealer or installer before August 5, 2024, please register your system via the form below by December 31, 2024.

Systems Installed On or After August 5, 2024
If your SunPower residential solar system was installed by a Maxeon Preferred Partner on or after August 5, 2024, your Maxeon Preferred Partner will register the solar panel warranty with Maxeon and you will receive a warranty certificate. You do not need to register via the form below.
