Every great legacy deserves a bright future.

For years, Haviland Storage Services has been more than a management company—it has been a family built on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to people.

As Sue Haviland prepares for retirement at the end of 2026, we're proud to share the next chapter of that legacy. Beginning January 1, 2027, Lighthouse Storage Solutions will assume management of the Haviland portfolio, carrying forward the values, relationships, and standard of excellence that have always defined HSS.

While change is never easy, this transition has been thoughtfully planned with one goal in mind: ensuring continuity for the owners, managers, and customers who have placed their trust in us. As this chapter evolves, our confidence in the future has never been stronger. We know the owners, employees, and customers who have trusted Haviland for so many years will be in exceptional hands with the Lighthouse team.

Thank you to every owner, manager, employee, customer, and industry partner who has been part of the Haviland journey. It has truly been an honor, and we're excited to see this legacy continue for many years to come.

🎉 Congratulations to Sue Haviland on an incredible career in self storage! After nearly 40 years of serving the industry, Sue announced that she plans to retire at the end of 2026. Throughout her career, she has earned the respect of countless owners, operators and industry professionals through her leadership, integrity and commitment to excellence.

As Sue begins this next chapter, we also congratulate Lighthouse Storage Solutions on the acquisition of Haviland Storage Services' third-party management portfolio, effective January 1, 2027. We wish Josh and Melissa Huff and the entire team success as they build upon the strong foundation Sue created.

🎉 Community, teamwork, and a little friendly competition! 🏀

This past Saturday, Melissa had the opportunity to join our amazing team at Cajalco-Temescal Storage Center for the Taste of Corona event, and it's safe to say she had a blast!

From meeting community members and sharing information about our storage solutions to taking on a few basketball challenges, it was a fantastic day all around.
