Back where it all began! 💙 Sue stopped by one of her OG properties, Sav-On Storage, and enjoyed some quality one-on-one time with the incredible team.

We’re continually impressed by the care they put into every detail, from providing friendly, personal customer service to keeping the property clean, secure, and meticulously maintained. We’re proud to have a real team of people on-site who genuinely care about their customers and the Chula Vista community. Great work, Sav-On team!

Sue and Kirjah are a beautiful reminder that the relationships we build extend far beyond storage. We’re so grateful for the wonderful people this industry has brought into our lives!

What a beautiful way to end an unforgettable time in Vegas! 🎶✨

We wrapped up the SSA Fall Trade Show with the U2 Concert Movie at Sphere, and what an experience it was! After a couple days filled with valuable conversations, industry connections, and fresh ideas, this was the perfect final night. Thank you for a great show, Self Storage Association!

Do you remember… Day 1 of the Fall Trade Show in Vegas? 🎶✨

Sue took the stage yesterday alongside an incredible panel representing more than 189 years of combined self storage experience… that’s a whole lot of industry knowledge in one room!

We wrapped up the day with great conversation, great company, and dinner with our friends at StoragePug and Lighthouse Storage Solutions 💜💙

A wonderful start to the show, with even more still to come!

One year ago yesterday… 🩵

One year ago, Sue sat down with Josh and Melissa from Lighthouse Storage Solutions and started a conversation about the future.

At the time, it was just that: a conversation about possibilities, what might come next, and how we could build on everything Sue built at HSS over the years.

Fast-forward one year, and look at us now ➡️ officially in motion!

It’s pretty incredible to look back at this photo knowing just how much has happened since that meeting. We’re excited about what’s ahead, grateful for the relationships that brought us here, and looking forward to LSS's next chapter.

What a difference a year makes! 🥂

Every great legacy deserves a bright future.

For years, Haviland Storage Services has been more than a management company—it has been a family built on trust, integrity, and a genuine commitment to people.

As Sue Haviland prepares for retirement at the end of 2026, we're proud to share the next chapter of that legacy. Beginning January 1, 2027, Lighthouse Storage Solutions will assume management of the Haviland portfolio, carrying forward the values, relationships, and standard of excellence that have always defined HSS.

While change is never easy, this transition has been thoughtfully planned with one goal in mind: ensuring continuity for the owners, managers, and customers who have placed their trust in us. As this chapter evolves, our confidence in the future has never been stronger. We know the owners, employees, and customers who have trusted Haviland for so many years will be in exceptional hands with the Lighthouse team.

Thank you to every owner, manager, employee, customer, and industry partner who has been part of the Haviland journey. It has truly been an honor, and we're excited to see this legacy continue for many years to come.

The best is still ahead. 💙

Great leadership starts by being out in the field.

Melissa and James recently walked the property together at Chaparral Self Storage, ensuring every detail meets our standards and identifying ways to continue providing the best possible experience for our customers.

We believe the best results come from working alongside our teams and supporting one another. From curb appeal to customer service, it's the little details that make a big difference.

Teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence... that's how we do it! 💚
