Current and former R3 Strategic Support Group Teammates enjoyed a great Veteran’s Day weekend, taking part in the 5th Annual "Rampart Ride" at Tackitt Family Vineyards in San Miguel, CA. The event involved two days of biking, live music, great food, and community fun — all in support of the EOD Warrior Foundation.

R3 was a proud sponsor and donated in support of R3 alumni Gene Rathgeber, who placed 2nd on the donations received leaderboard. Gene and Robert Baughman participated in the cycling event.

The annual Rampart Ride benefits wounded, ill, and injured service members. Hosted by Tackitt Family Vineyards, the event includes a bike clinic, welcome party, and a main ride.

This exclusive, free event is designed specifically for spouses of new Chief Petty Officers. Over 700 Sailors will be promoted to Chief Petty Officer within the various U.S. Navy San Diego-based commands in September 2025. CPO Spouse Connect brings together both spouses of new Chief Petty Officers and current spouses for a one-of-a-kind experience. You’ll not only meet other CPO spouses, but also experience a platform for networking, relationship building, and personal and professional leadership development. The objective is not just to provide information and resources, but to create an environment of celebration and camaraderie!

The online 2025 Rampart Ride Cycling Kit Store will be open from 21 July – 4 August, offering race and conventional fit jerseys, bibs, shorts, and gloves from Pactimo.

The 5th annual "Rampart Ride," coming November 7th and 8th, is a charity cycling event sponsored by the EOD Warrior Foundation and Tackitt Family Vineyards. The ride benefits wounded, ill, and injured service members. Hosted by Tackitt Family Vineyards in San Miguel, CA, the event includes a bike clinic, welcome party, and a main ride.

R3 Strategic Support Group continued its support of the Navy Special Operations Foundation (NSOF) as a "Diamond Presenting Sponsor" at the 7th Annual NSOF Benefit Gala held on June 28th in Virginia Beach, VA.

R3 was privileged to participate in this important event, which was attended by more than 350 guests and raised a record-breaking $207,000 to fund critical programs that directly serve Navy EOD Operators, Navy Divers, and their families.

R3 Strategic Support Group teammates Bob Baughman and Marc Tranchemontagne were among the current and former U.S. Navy EOD in attendance at the Congressional EOD Caucus’ recent "EOD Day on the Hill." The annual event showcases EOD capabilities and provides members of Congress and their staffs the opportunity to meet EOD personnel and leadership from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, as well as FBI, ATF, and USCP leaders. The EOD Caucus is a bipartisan congressional member organization that advocates for military EOD unit members and their families in 115 congressional districts. A few R3 Strategic Support Group teammates enjoyed a beautiful San Diego day while golfing, team building, and supporting the San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC) Foundation's Golf Tournament and Social on 19 May. All proceeds from the event went directly toward scholarships for transitioning service members. SDMAC's mission is to empower and serve the San Diego military, military families, and veteran communities through outreach, furthering education and skills, and supporting veteran transition initiatives.

R3 Strategic Support Group, Inc. honors U.S. National Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Day. The first Saturday in May is designated as National EOD Day to honor those who are serving and have served in the noble and self-sacrificing profession of Explosive Ordnance Disposal in the United States Armed Forces. ​

R3 Teammates attended the Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial 4th Annual Women's History Tribute and Brunch on March 20th.

R3 proudly sponsored the brunch that honored the remarkable contributions of women in our nation's military service -- past and present. The event also coincided with Women’s History Month.

This year's event paid special recognition to women in the U.S. Air Force and honored LtCol Evelyn Jean Wright, USAF (Ret.), a distinguished Flight Nurse who transported patients across the Pacific during the Korea and Vietnam Wars. Colonel Wright also pioneered the first advanced military obstetrical nursing course and served as a Consultant in Maternal Nursing to the Surgeon General.
