Our experience with Division 1 Construction LLC has been terrible. We discovered what we believe was a $64,000 overcharge, and when we brought it up, there was no apology, just a revised invoice with no explanation. Billing from the owner’s wife, Marty, was inconsistent, and we later learned we were charged for items we were told we hadn’t paid for. Materials we purchased also went missing after their project manager removed items from our garage without explanation.

We paid for roof and stucco repairs that turned out not to be done at all, leading to major leaks and thousands in damage. The company went through five painters and six drywall crews, some producing poor work and others showing up intoxicated. Window and stucco work caused additional leaks and interior damage, and warranty work took months, with only partial repairs completed.

Marcus repeatedly promised to oversee fixes but never showed up, then ultimately walked off the job and refused further warranty work. After seven emails over three months requesting a final bill, we still have nothing. Overall, our experience has been unprofessional, stressful, and costly. We cannot recommend Division 1 Construction.
