The Role:

What You'll Do:

• Counsel clients on regulatory compliance and transactional matters involving innovative payments products
• Guide fintech companies and financial institutions through the development, launch, and operation of payments and banking products (covering product design, commercial contracting, and risk management)
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements relating to payment services, banking partnerships, embedded finance, stablecoins, and digital wallets
• Support corporate transactions involving regulated financial services businesses, including regulatory due diligence
• Provide practical, business-oriented advice to startups, growth-stage companies, and established financial institutions navigating evolving legal and regulatory frameworks

What You Need:

• 2+ years of experience in fintech/payments regulatory and transactional work
• Strong interest in emerging financial technologies
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and client service skills
• Admission to (or eligibility for prompt admission to) the New York bar

Compensation:

Target salary range: $235,000 – $310,000, plus bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.
