Today is also a reminder of the importance of taking time to recharge, reconnect, and enjoy the moments that make all that dedication worthwhile.

This summer, our Step Up Challenge encouraged our team to get moving, spend more time outdoors, and see where their steps could take them.

Along the way, many of those walks, hikes, and adventures turned into moments worth capturing.

So, in celebration of World Photography Day, we’re sharing a collection of photos taken by our team — from scenic trails and sweeping landscapes to memorable places explored near and far.

These moments reflect two of our 4Ls in action: 4LOVING, by taking time to appreciate the people, places, and experiences around us, and 4LEADING, by inspiring one another to stay active, explore, and lead by example.

We first featured these photos on our office monitors, and they were too beautiful not to share again. Thank you to everyone who contributed a favorite shot and gave us a glimpse of where your steps have taken you!

What an incredible week at DTECH Reliability & Resiliency, bringing together utility leaders, engineers, innovators, and industry experts to exchange ideas and strengthen the future of our industry.

As part of the Wildfire & Weather Emergency Response Summit, Paolo Paruccini joined Dave Bunge of ComEd for Building Trust Through Crisis: Customer Engagement Strategies for Disaster Response. Their conversation highlighted how utilities can align operational response with clear, timely customer communication before, during, and after major events.

Thank you to Dave for sharing the stage with Paolo, and DTECH for creating space for these important conversations.

Congratulations to Rian Singh on successfully completing his summer internship with our Automated Design Services (ADS) team!

Over the past two months, Rian gained hands-on experience across security project design, project management, and finance. He contributed to multiple projects and developed standardized security design templates that reduced package creation time by roughly 60%.

Rian also joined our team at the AIA San Diego National Convention, participating in partnership meetings with hardware manufacturers and gaining firsthand exposure to the industry.

He wrapped up his internship by presenting his key takeaways and accomplishments to our Senior Leadership Team and did an outstanding job.

Real projects. Real deliverables. Real impact.

Thank you for your hard work and contributions this summer, Rian. We’re proud of what you accomplished and excited to see where your journey takes you next!

When severe weather or wildfires impact communities, restoring power is only part of the response. Utilities must also communicate clearly, engage customers meaningfully, and align operational response with customer expectations before, during, and after an emergency.

Last week, 4Liberty was proud to support Drive for a Cure, San Diego Gas & Electric's charity golf tournament benefiting Blood Cancer United —formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society—and its Light The Night campaign.

Willie MacDonald, P.E., and guests represented 4Liberty on the course for a memorable day of golf, connection, and giving back. More importantly, the event brought the community together to support the fight against blood cancer and bring hope to patients and their families.

At 4Liberty, we believe meaningful change happens when communities unite around a shared purpose. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support organizations doing life-changing work and honored to contribute to such an important cause.

John embodies our 4Loving value through his generosity and willingness to support his coworkers. He is always ready to lend a hand, contribute wherever he’s needed, and help create a positive environment for those around him.

John also takes great pride in his work and consistently demonstrates his appreciation for 4Liberty by actively supporting and promoting our employee engagement initiatives. His positive attitude and enthusiasm for getting involved help encourage connection and collaboration across the company.

And, of course, we can’t forget one of John’s most memorable contributions: he is our undisputed Master of the Grill!

What a great day at the 4th Annual Paula Covert Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by NAWIC San Diego Chapter 21 !

4Liberty was proud to once again support this meaningful event, bringing together construction professionals to honor Paula Covert’s legacy while raising funds for Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with industry partners, meet new faces, and celebrate the incredible work NAWIC San Diego continues to do in support of women in construction and our local community.

We’re grateful to be part of such a special event and already looking forward to next year!
