🔥 BRAND REFRESH
We’ve had the wonderful opportunity over the last 3 years to work with as a strategic & creative design partner. In that time, we’ve helped tweak and evolve their brand assets while watching them grow! This past fall, their awesome founder Robert, came to us with a new challenge (don’t tempt us with a good time 😏): “How do we better visually communicate that our products are for everyone?” There was hesitation that their brand visuals, at the time, were skewed to attract a younger audience- and while they’ve got nothing against kids munching on some Mooski bars, they wanted to make sure their consumers knew all were welcome to indulge.
A couple of key points we took into account when exploring new ideas that helped to solve the design problem at hand:
-We wanted to be sure we maintained the playful, whimsical vibes that Mooski was known for, but knew we had to elevate the illustrative style beyond its cartoon/coloring book feel.
-We loved the idea of world building in relation to the brand’s Swiss roots- specifically leaning into iconic visuals like the Alps, Swiss chalet, alphorn, gondola, etc.
-We moved towards slightly more desaturated tones, and designed the packaging with a monochromatic palette for each sku.
*Bonus- we were also able to food style & photograph new bar imagery that more accurately represented their product and really played up the delicious factor.
Our end goal was maintaining the unique personality & storytelling elements of the brand, while elevating their overall look and feel. New illustrations, new typography, new color palette, new imagery, same delicious Mooski. 😋 How do you think we did?
