A little strategy, a little barbecue, and a lot of good company. ❤️

We kicked off our company picnic day with breakfast and all-hands meetings led by Andy, Leigh Ann, Justin, and Matt, taking some time to talk about where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and what we’re building together.

Then came the important stuff: face painting, barbecue, plenty of time with family and coworkers, and a very competitive co****le tournament, with the Bianchis taking home the win. 🏆

And of course, no GenTech event would be complete without a little canine supervision. Mookie, our Chief of Company Culture, was joined by special guest Gunner to make sure everything stayed up to standard. 🐾

Days like this are a good reminder that a company is more than the work happening at the bench. It’s the people, families, friendships, and community behind it.

Is a GC-MS basically an Easy-Bake Oven for molecules? 🍪✨

GC-MS is not an Easy-Bake Oven… but the GC side does have an oven. It heats compounds so they can move through the system, while the MS side helps identify what they are. Heat, separate, identify — GC-MS made slightly silly.
