When we are awakened by that voice within us - you know the one - that tugs at our awareness of who we are and how we are perhaps settling in our daily lives. The knowing that there is so much more we are to do in our lifetime here on this earth.

What do you do with that feeling?

How does it present itself to you?

This has been omnipresent in my life recently so vividly that I've been forced to be in denial or face it all head on! I choose to face it!

How does your past define your future?

Author Joseph Campbell said, "when heros answer the call it is not without self doubt first, then a point of no return. Which leads to a battle...within...

Ive felt a call for many years yet wasn't aware of what, when or why???

I've been experiencing so many reminders of my past lately! Coming into my awareness in new ways with the familiarity of their existence in my past.

I felt the urge to respond and react from my past experiences but said NO! I chose to allow the existence of all of it! To take accountability and ownership of my past choices to create a new and evolved future! When I say there were many, I am not kidding!

We often feel we do not have a choice?

Under normal circumstances I could choose to fold or whine, or righteously become a victim or run from the pain of the familiarity of the memories. Or the pity party of the 'why me's?'

Nope! I invited all of these completely unrelated scenarios to come into my space and found the courage to face each one with a new awareness adapted from who I am! No blaming or victim of others for anything. Just a complete owning of my own reality and commitment to my future! When you are answering the call - get ready - expect to be challenged!!! That's what the road of trials because it's the obstacles that challenge you but show you how to gain the strength to forge ahead!!!

It's all unfolding as it should. More rich experiences to bring to my work and commitment to teaching, empowering, inspiring and touching the lives of others!!!

I got my own journey! So excited as I continue to unfold with greater awareness, clarity and peace! Following the quest... Not knowing where it ends...

Look at the stories you're telling yourself and others! What can be revealed to create a new understanding, a new awareness, a new outcome? Start there!

What are you called to do? Get ready... Expect to be challenged...

What I know for sure is that facing the challenges, obstacles and unknowns in life has taught me to face my fears and find the courage to MOVE! And begin to stand in my own light!!!

Over the past many years, post divorce, my X and I have had significant and meaningful conversations and effectiveness in the spirit of collaboration in raising our son. I'm often reminded that the crocodile is obvious in its intentions while my X can appear human yet his bite can be deadly!

From this vantage point - on the other side - I am armed with the tools to release the clamping jaws and although I'd like to turn him into a new bag or pair of boots, I release him into the wild until he is able to become human again to resume the role of collaboration...
